SUMMARY:Equine Stretching Clinic
DESCRIPTION:At this one day clinic you will learn all the exercises ne
 eded to stretch the major muscle groups in the horse, with a focus on 
 proper posture and safe stretching techniques. You will have the oppor
 tunity to practice all of the exercises (primarily focusing on passive
  stretches) on the REACH horses in the heated barn.\nThis course expla
 ins:\nthe benefits of stretching\nthe difference between active and pa
 ssive stretching\nhow to use automatic responses to encourage horse to
  perform certain stretches  effectively introducing a horse to stretc
 hing for the first time. Ultimately, learn how to tailor a stretching 
 program specifically for your own horses.\nTuition includes all course
  materials, handouts, refreshments and lunch.\nPlease Note: Passive st
 retching of limbs requires lifting and maneuvering of the horse’s le
 gs. You must be confident you are physically capable of performing the
 se exercises prior to registering for the course. The focus of this co
 urse will always be on safety - both for the horse and for the handler
