SUMMARY:Equine Stretching Workshop
DESCRIPTION:At this one day clinic you will learn all the exercises ne
 eded to stretch all the major muscle groups in the horse, with a focus
  on proper posture and safe stretching techniques. You will have the o
 pportunity to practice all of the exercises (primarily focusing on pas
 sive stretches) on the REACH horses in the heated barn.\nThis course e
 xplains\nthe benefits of stretching\nthe difference between active and
  passive stretching\nhow to use automatic responses to encourage horse
  to perform certain stretches\neffectively introducing a horse to stre
 tching for the first time\n\nUltimately, learn how to tailor a stretch
 ing program specifically for your own horses.\n\nTuition inclues all c
 ourse materials, handouts, refreshments and lunch.\n\nPlease Note: Pas
 sive stretching of limbs requires lifting and maneuvering of the horse
 ’s legs. You must be confident you are physically capable of perform
 ing these exercises prior to registering for the course. The focus of 
 this course will always be on safety - both for the horse and for the
