This week's question:

Name five horse gaits.

Visit the Hayward website to check out their fabulous machine washable show jackets!

The answer to last week's question is a bog spavin a swelling of the tibiotarsal joint of the horse's hock but does not cause lameness. It can be caused by a deformity in the joint or by a lack of minerals or supplements. The joint becomes full of excess synovial fluid and horses that have straight hocks are more prone to developing a bog spavin because there is an increased strain on their hocks.

Congratulations to Mira Lea Tardiff who won our draw!
