My young sister who is new to driving, has been ground driving Moses without problems :) Has not been hitched only because we do not have a cart to fit him. (I drive Minis so the carts are too small for him). In experienced hands, Moses should have no problem being hitched and continuing in his training. Light on his feet and is a very cute mover! We know that his mother was a 37" mini, but his father is unknown... looks like it could've been either Hackney or Shetland with the way he moves :)</span></p>

Just wondering, I have been considering the purchase of an 8.3hh shetland gelding for my kids to ride, but he is also trained to drive. Does any one know (or have a guess) what would be a comfortable amount of weight for him to pull? I have seen smaller minis pulling a single adult, but I would guess this guy's weight at about 300lbs, and he is a "little" stouter then your average mini.<br />
I have never owned a small pony before and do not know what would be a good standard to judge such a…
