Thats awesome! Very cool Darryl! I'm sure I saw your horse warm up for the dressage... I really noticed his extended trot. Boy, he can really move! We are thinking of moving up to intermediate next year as Ray would like a little more of a challenge and we think our boys can do it. We just need to work a little more on their dressage!
I'll check our your boy on YouTube...
Talk to you later,
Alison

Alison - actually we had not planned to compete for some other obligations. Then my trainer, Sterling Graburn's horse was lame and off training for long enough to cause Sterling to decide not to take him. He asked to take my Saddlebred, Singsation. Sterling's horse was a Prelim but I've been competing my ASB in Intermediate. Sterling took him and won Intermediate Single Horse!! I went at last minute and took video of them in all three phases. Go to YouTube and search on: Singsation, Iron Horse.

Darryl - its such an amazing place! Its our first time there and we heard so many good things about it. The only thing that really bothered us was the drive around Chicago. We went a different way home, it was a little longer but it was a way better route. The next time we go we will be going that way! Did you show there as well?
Thanks Frances!

We just came back from Iron Horse in Illinois last week. We won the pair prelim pony division winning the marathon and cones (with a broken spring!). The ponies were amazing and behaved themselves. It was an amazing show as it was the last qualifier for WEG. There were 11 4-in hands there. It was very impressive to see!! The show grounds were amazing and we would love to do that show again.

There are horses that do not think the little fences are worth worrying about. Are you lungeing him over the jumps just in a cavesson, or are you using side reins too? Do you lunge over jumps with a saddle on? Do not use side reins (I am not saying…

Where did I state that medival dressage was humane and correct? I have stipulated that the SRS under Podhajsky presented dressage more correctly. I know who Kottas is and he is not a horseman! Podhajsky was a horseman and even General Patton was a h…
