The vet would hold your horses tongue in one hand while using a hand rasp in the other hand to float his teeth......

Haha!!!! I HAD a hair dryer with a hose and plastic cap! I love this thread!
When you remember making Christmas wreaths out of folded, stapled, and spray painted IBM computer cards.

Oh my God! I remember using both of those items.... used to get up early, wash my hair and tie it is rags and then go back to sleep with the cap on my head.....wake up in an hour, hair would be dry, untie the rags and voila - instant waves.......

as for the IBM computer cards - we used to have to proof those when I worked at the university. Old time keypunch operators.......and if the output wasn't correct - we would have to collect the cards from the operators and start looking for the error.... ugh!!

You remember the your first pair of riding boots,
were mounted police issue boots, with buckles up the side of each leg and thick laces!!!

Winter riding gear was wearing leotards, wool knee socks socks, two pairs of jeans
a turtleneck and a irish knit sweater under a wool navy pea coat.

Dad put chains on the tires to drive you to the stables.

The phone made a cool sound as you rotated the round dial for each number
