Has anyone on this group got any Irish Draughts?

Hi Sherry, here in Ireland, I use cattle fly tags on our horses halters & bridles at home. We only use fly spray at shows. Fly tags need to be replaced ever 4 to 6 weeks. All started with our school horses not liking the spray, so I would spray body brush & brush on to the nervous ones. Then, New Zealand rider gave me this idea. Hope this is of help. Let me know. Liz

Hi , I am try to find a fly spray that works, any suggestions, I think I have tried about half of what is out there.  My draft/tb hates flies when we are schooling .

My beautiful Percheron x QH (in my profile pic) is sadly for sale.  Due to health reasons, I am just no longer able to manage such a strong, big boy!

He is currently with a USDF gold medalist dressage trainer in Southern California.  She can be reached for more information at http://jadressage.com/ .

Hope everyone out there is loving their draft crosses!  I am devistated to have to sell mine, he is truly a one in a million horse!

Just finalized the purchase of my second draft x. :-)  I bought a 1/4 Belgian x 3/4 QH who rides and drives as a trail mount for hubby, and for me to learn to drive with.  Hubby bought me a 2-seater cutter for Christmas which arrived from Quebec on Friday; now I'm on the hunt for a harness for the new guy so I can hook him up.  I think I"m heading for Brubacher's or Martin's this week..... :-)

Anyhow, love my draft x's - great minds!!!

Hi everybody!
I have draft crosses. My first horse (that I still have) is a Standardbred/Clydesdale cross gelding. I got him from Mary Jean Large in Underwood, Ontario.
I was wondering if anybody else has bought horses from her?
Nice to meet everybody, I know I'm familiar with at least one other person on here...

Just wondering how many are driving their draft x's? I am looking for a second draft x well-broke to drive and then get my current Cyde x mare broke to drive so I'll have a team. Anyone else out there driving these lovely draft x's??
