Canadian Horse Journal is excited to announce that we will be celebrating the Canadian Warmblood Horse with a two-part breed profile feature in our January 2012 and February 2012 issues.
Breeders who wish to support the article and showcase their stallion, breeding or training facility, or horses for sale around this special targeted feature, please contact us.
The article will look at the history, foundation, and progression of the Canadian Warmblood, as well as its influence on Canadian breeding programs today. Readers will also learn about the inspection process required for a horse to become a licensed Canadian Warmblood, and the benefits it offers. The article will show no bias to any one discipline, style, or use of the Canadian Warmblood; our goal is simply to showcase the Canadian Warmblood Horse to our readers and the world.
We will be researching information for the article from the Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association; however, we are very interested in receiving additional information and history from breeders, trainers, and organizations that support the CWB Horse. We are also interested in interviewing CWB breeders to receive first-hand information about how the CWB has helped to develop Canada’s depth of elite competition horses for Canadian riders, both high performance and amateur. We look forward to featuring the personal quotes and photos received from Canada’s very own horsemen/women.
If you or someone you know is interested in being interviewed, please contact Canadian Horse Journal at news@horsejournals.com or 1-800-299-3799.
