This page is dedicated to watching the mares on Mare Stare, starting with the mini donkeys at Half Ass Acres. But be warned....it is highly addictive.

Wow...He has gotten so big! I hope he gets better soon. :)
Who is the Mare and Foal in Pumpkins stall?
Eve's Colt got into mischief this morning and was on the wrong side of two fences.....he got stuck in between and while trying to extracate himself he got hung up and torn the skin off his hind leg. He's in to get bandaged and cleaned.
Yes, she looks very quiet and pensive, doesn't she? What is she up to?
Has that foal of Eve's ever grown.Hard to believe he was little only a few months ago! She did a good job of feeding him.
Ace looks pretty uncomfortable
Dont worry Katherine, shes still preggers and you might get to see it some day! lol
Sorry. I shouldve mentioned it was feeding time for the other moms and their babies. Btw, I have been watching a mare around the corner from me as she closer and closer to foaling. No cam, just driving by. Shes on my regular route to work. She had a little red and white foal last night. It looked to still be wet at 7:45 this morning. The dam is sorrel, probably QH. Its so fun to watch what pops up during spring mornings.
Thank you, Heather! I didn't really see anything, I was just reading the comments and lamenting missing another birth :-)))
Bah! Ha!
I thought that foal was way too big and mature to be Pumpkin's but seeing them in black and white sometimes makes it difficult to tell who is who.
