Happy Easter to you as well...and to all on the forum.

I chose to bandage Ace's tail because she is rubbing it so profusely that I can't see anything...and my eyes play tricks on me.  It's simply to keep things neat.  We also have lost a cam, so Chantilly is without an outside cam so that we can have one on Ace.

Why do you bandage Ace's tail when you didnt bandage the others? Just curious.

Pretty restless girl....maybe later tonight.

Ace will get all that winter coat rubbed off yet if she keeps at it. She is looking sleeker every day.Waiting to see her new foal.

We start using the test strips as soon as they are bagging and we can get enough milk to test.  Which is one drop with the Foal-Time Test strips.

You are right Maureen...I love them for different reasons, but Ace is the sweetest mare I have.  You could crawl under her belly and she wouldn't care.  She was born here and her and Precious are my keepers.  If I ever sold out those two would stay and be pasture ornaments.

Hi Heather - can you tell me when you start using the milk testing strips ? i'm thinking of using them on my mare and i've heard nothing but good reports about them !

LOL!

You keep saying this one is a favourite and then, that one is definately my favourite. I'm beginning to think they are all your favourites!

Ace is very ready physically. She only made one slight change on the refractometer - we are looking for a jump.  Hopefully soon.  We have never had a holiday baby...maybe we'll get lucky.

Baby has a name already too....dare I share?  :)   Hoping for a filly, but the name will work either way.  If she has it on Easter it will still be what I have chosen unless something just inspires me.  Love this mare....definite favorite.

Change my last comment to "She looks comfortable as a stump."  She is doing this just to keep us up.
