It's been very quiet here.  I apologize for not keeping things up to date, but I have had some challenges that have put me behind.  And now I have a barn full of "ready" mares.  All the mares that are in are close and getting closer.  It's going to get crazy!!

Here are a couple of photos of foals we have missed.....

Wow. I haven't tuned in a while and just read about Blessed Be's Colt. I am so sorry to hear about the out come. How freaky. What an educational site for future horse breeders. My heart goes out to you both.

Monday morning UK.

The photos reduce me to tears especially Shannon sleeping with the colt.

I'm so very sorry the little fellow did'nt make it, sometimes Mother Nature can be so cruel. You gave hime the very best chance & all the love & care possible & it's good to know that Blessed Be has accepted the situation. Animals can teach us a thing or two about real life can't they?

Sincere condolences to you all. xxx

Thank you for the detailed explanation about Will. I am so sorry for your loss, the love you gave him during his time on earth was so touching. Glad to hear that Blessed Be is coping well. Their story will always have a special place in many peoples hearts.

:) hope to see more tiny feet soon, praying that they will be healthy and have uncomplicated births- something which (I realise more so over time, same with human babies!) is blessed and special.

Wishy and her baby are doing great.  We will be doing photos of several of the foals soon.  We got a bit behind with other issues.

How are Wishey and her baby doing?

I am so sorry for your loss. What a freak thing...to have a blood clot in the cord giving him oxygen deprivation and neuro damage. You had no other choice for Will would never had any quality of life. Yes, he is now whole and running in green pastures over The Rainbow Bridge. I think Blessed Be is at peace with this decision. She, too, wanted what was best for her baby and knew you gave him your all.

What a bizarre and strange event with the blood clot!  We all watched in awe as you and Shannon gave him so much love and care.  I'm so glad BB is going to be ok as well.
