That is Dash.  He is about the dumbest cat we have ever had.  He has been thrown across the stall by the mares and he goes right back.  Some of the mares like him, but obviously Precious is not a cam lover and he doesn't know enough to stay out.

I have some important meetings this morning so someone will foal or whelp for sure.  grrrr. LOL

Laurie, you made me laugh outloud -thanks so much.  That was great.  Those little horse balls can be a pain too because they go right through the fork sometimes.  No environmental statements here LOL  hehe

So she did read the book?  I've been tempted to tie cookies to it so she'll pay attention to it.

This is Calypso's 2nd litter.  She had four last year and two did not make it - they were extremely different in size and we had necropsys done to ensure it wasn't a genetic fault, which it was not.

man, watching you scoop poop with one hand almost makes me wish i had a mini. when my fjord dumps, i have to file an environmental impact statement. it's usually a two scooper and he does it as far away from the bucket in the arena as he can LOL.....

i keep watching precious late at night......yawn. and she always looks like she's ready to go, and in the morning? well, there she is again. last night i watched her read the book and lie down, so i was SURE it was time....

Precious is at 307 days.  320 is the average for our minis.  She is in the safe zone...although all pregnancies are different.  We had one mare foal at 307 last year with a preemie that didn't survive...so 300 for one isn't the same as 300 for another.
