Yes the dangly swingy thing is a ball we have hanging from a tree.  The babies like it.

The mare and foal that keep running by is Sadie and Susie.

Cam #2 has Pearl and Precious on outside.  Windy here today - storms threatening.

What is that dangly swingy thing at the gate? Is it a toy for the little ones?

She has rubbed her tail until it looks like she has a rear afro.  At one point I couldn't tell her head from her tail until she moved. LOL  She is probably trying to loosen things up.

Pearl seems wound up tonight.  Is she holding her tail away from her bum tonight?  Can anyone else tell??

I wish Precious and then Dancer would have their babes.  I NEED SOME SLEEP ladies!!!  And need to cut back on the wetting drops I'm using to keep my eyes open.

It depends on the mare Toots.  We have accidentally bred at 2 years (stallion got in with the mares and naturally got the 2 year old that happened to be in heat)  We left her because we felt she was mature enough.  She had some issues liking the baby...she liked it but didn't want it to nurse.  She adjusted and is an awesome mom.  We have bred other 2 year old and had no issues.  We look for body maturity and mental maturity.  We have a 2 year old now that we have been told to breed.  Physically she is great, but mentally...not so much.  She can wait.  We don't like to breed just to breed.

Precious and Pearl are on cam #2 www.marestare.com/fcam.php?alias=mrun2  They are in and out today as they continue to progress. Precious backed up just a touch in her tests so she can stay out today and enjoy the sunshine.

Looks as if there is some serious DIY going on in Mulligans Run Winning Colours stall. :)
