I am new to marestare and already hooked. Hi Heather, I am Claire and your Precious is just that !! I hope she foals soon and you can get some well deserved sleep. Thank you for having this cam for us horse/animal lovers and I hope I am able to see the "blessed event".

People ask me all the time if I ever sleep.  I joke and tell them I'm a vampire...love the Twilight Saga. :)  I just don't sleep well, especially right now.  Will explain that more soon.

I am very grateful to have all of you with us and I try very hard to answer all questions.  I feel that others have helped me and I just want to pass it on.  We can all learn from each other :)

I know --It seems that no matter when we make comments- you're awake and watching. It must be exhausting by the end of foaling season.

No, I've been under alot of stress lately and it's wearing me down.  Plus lack of sleep...I need to sleep for two days - after my girl foals LOL

Dianne, I don't feel well this evening, so I'm here in the house resting.

She is way off the chart on the refractometer - actually glued the lenses together with her thick sticky milk.  And she's barely about 1/2 square above being ready to foal.  We are getting close.
