The temps here tonight are suppose to get down to something around 16*F. Laurie, the vet I work with says it FEELS more like Minnesota here than South Carolina ROFL

wow, how cold is it down there? what you're doing looks more like minnesota than south carolina. i have heavy curtains on all the windows in by 100 year old house. looks like you're doing the equine version. nice set of little helpers you have there.

Shirley, They are completely iced in there.  The weather is just too bad to let them out.  It's dangerous.

Carolyn, I am so sorry - that is a terrible loss!

You know, since it happened in the middle of the night, there is no way you could have known about it. I'm sure that doesn't make it easier, but in this particular case it sounds like you shouln't feel guilty about something you could never have known. Please don't be too hard on yourself.

just love that little filly foal !

Heather, can you tell me if twin pregnancies are common with miniatures, i know with the larger equines they can 'pinch one out' but what happens with the minis ?
