Ahh the time is quickly approaching, Rj is going to start weaning next week :( He's going to be weaned at 4 months, I would like to leave him longer but his new home is waiting, and we're trading him for a 4 year old stallion that she would kind of like to be gone soon, and Pearl is not happy with Rj anymore, she bites and kicks when he nurses, and he doesn't really hang out with her anymore, he hangs with the other girls in the field, he doesn't nurse much anymore either. I think he's ready, I've been dreading this. Where did the last 4 months go? I'm going to miss him. His show career is off to an excellent start, first show he won the weanlings class and then got reserve champion jr. horse, then won the colour class. Second show he won the weanlings class and got reserve champion stallion, and got 2nd in colour. He's doing well.
I'm expecting another foal anytime now, she's a silver dapple pinto, she's bred to Grosshills Chief Crazy Horse, black leopoard appaloosa.
My mini herd has grown, here's a rundown of the herd;
Pearl Creeks Lacey, silver dapple pinto mare (Rj's mom)
Dream Maker's Little Chyrstal, white, possible pintaloosa mare, bred to leopoard appaloosa for 2011
BF Muskokas A Little Bit Cheeky, silver dapple pinto mare, due anytime.
Hale Farms Tough N Talented Mike, yearling black and white colt.
AJ Murrays Buckeroo Heime, sorrel gelding.
HL'S Oreo Cookie, Black and white gelding, For sale.
HL'S final Exposure, silver dapple pinto colt.
Bane's EK Gold Major, homozygous buckskin pinto, will be coming home when Rj is weaned.

How are everyone else's minis doing? How many are you up to? They're pretty addicting aren't they? We've decided that we're going to start breeding them.

i also have a gelding for sale. he has out grown the mini height limit of 38", he is 4 and now stands 39". "Moses" would make a great project pony, he is started in driving, western under saddle, and has a huge jump. with further training he would make a nice lesson pony or an "all-around" pony.
I am asking $1500obo also open to trade for a Falabella mare

Updated pictures of RJ(stands for Revy Jr., his sire's barn name was Revy). RJ will be 2 months old on June 15, I can't believe how big he is!

Thanks.
We've picked his registered name: HL'S Final Exposure. His sire's name was JEM Reverse Exposure, so that's where we got the exposure part from. And the final is because the sire was put down 2 weeks ago from colic. So this is the last foal from him, and only one this year. And it's the only colt he's ever produced. The lady who owned the stallion is buying my little guy, she came to see him today and just loves him.
