Yeah delusional is kinda cool. But I do agree about the patience part. I'm learning that from my old guy (26Yr) He's relinquishing his position in the herd pecking order to a younger gelding and he is fine with it. I see him more patient with the younger horses and when I take a young horse into the round pen I too am more patient not only with the horse but with my self in that I'm not striving so hard to accomplish everything in one session. I was bad for that. Same with my old guy, he just is more laid back about stuff and doesn't fuss with the younger horses like he used too. He also is losing his eyesight slowly and depends on the mare to guide him to water and food sources. Kinda like me too..my eyesights going as well as a few other things and it helps to have a younger one around to show me the way.
