So far we're at two adoptions. one is a reg'd T-bred mare (two direct lines to war admiral) and the other is a big buckskin QH mare - not registered. Both of these girls were victims of negligent homes, just left out in the pasture and unattended to. Though both had decent weight when we acquired them, their feet were horrendous! Similar condition but these girls came from two differnt provinces. The thoroughbred has endeered herself to us and is working on being a broodmare. She's got a lovely personality. The quarter horse will be re-broke this summer and possibly re-homed to a caring and loving family.

hi everyone!
i think it is awesome that people give abused horses second chances.At our family farm of eight horses...we have adopted three of them. And they are doing amazing :)
