TC Youth in the Spotlight has been developed to award one deserving youth for their outstanding contribution to the dressage community through volunteer work at all Toronto CADORA events, their own accomplishments and successes and overall exceptional attitude!

Application forms are available online at http://www.torontocadora.com/pdf/TC_Youth_Spotlight_Application.pdf for the youth to fill out, which will include why they feel they deserve to be the TC Youth in the Spotlight, a small biography of themselves, a list of their future goals and accomplishments and a photo of them and their horse (riding or otherwise).

Every application will be reviewed by the TC Youth Committee and a youth will be chosen at a time that the committee sees fit.

However, if there is a stand out youth who has not applied and the committee feels they deserve to be nominated for the TC Youth in the Spotlight award, then that youth will also be put into the running.

Each awarded youth will receive a gift certificate from Equestrian Factory Outlet and have their picture and bio up on the Toronto CADORA website, along with our TC Youth pages on Facebook and Barnmice.
Elizabeth has always loved horses. At age eight, she had her wish granted and started taking riding lessons western style. She then moved to English, competing in hunter-jumper shows for a number of years. It was at this time she found her true calling in dressage and hasn't looked back since.

Recently, Elizabeth was Champion for the Walk-Trot Division with her thoroughbred partner, Mr. Bob. She was also the High-Point Dressage division champion for WES Equestrian's inhouse schooling shows.

Looking to the future, her goals include riding, riding and more riding and she hopes to compete at the higher levels of the sport one day.

Elizabeth is a very dedicated volunteer for Toronto CADORA and is always eager to lend a helping hand wherever it is needed!

Elizabeth will recieve a gift certificate from Equestrian Factory Outlet.

Congratulations Elizabeth from all of us at TC Youth!!
