Shes the sweetest little girl every and she loves attention! I would love to take her home with me but the people are going to race her :( (I think they shouldn't race her, shes to sweet :)
I have been able to trace my thoroughbred mare's heritage all the way back to the Darley Arabian through the stallions. Although never raced herself her ancestors come from a long line of successful racing thoroughbreds and her sire's heritage is easily traceable. I have similarly traced part of her dam's heritage through the thoroughbred line all the way back to the founder Arabian but the Welsh Cob side of her dam's heritage (she is 1/8th Welsh Cob though being a rangy 17 hh you would not think it) defeats me, not least of all because of the Welsh names. It was a fascinating exercise to do and is a credit to the racing fraternity who have over the centuries kept such good records of the thoroughbred stallions. Judith
Go to www.pedigreequery.com. On the top line type in the jockey club name of your horse and then click Horse Search. You will learn a lot about your horse.

I was able to trace my TB mare Exclusive Victory back to Polynesian on her sires side. And to Nasrullah on her dam's side.
My Mare is a descendant of Whirlaway
