Why do I love my horse? Well their are so many reasons that if I wrote them all down, I'd have to write a book :) So, I'll try to keep it short and mention just a few key things. Her name is Georgia and she's what I've been dreaming for all 15 years of my life. I started working at age 11 when I realized that my dream of owning a horse was going to be a lot harder to accomplish than I though, and that putting it on my Christmas list to Santa just wasn't going to cut it. When after saving up over 2000$ my parents finally realized just how dedicated I was to horses and they decided it was time to start looking for a place near by where I could keep a horse (age 14). The first place we investigated, a beautiful little farm about 15 minutes from our house said that they would not be taking anymore horses but that they did have a few for sale and if we were to buy one of them, we could keep it there. That's when I met Georgia for the first time. I had my doubts about her but it all worked out and I've been a proud owner for 3 months and 11 days :) I couldn't have asked for a better friend; she's goofy and friendly, and loves to try new things. Not only is she a great riding horse but she's a lot of fun to work with on the ground too; she will kick around a huge ball, step on a platform and run, stop, and walk right beside me on a loose lead. Not to mention the number of times I've screwed up riding and she's saved me from falling off, Georgia is the greatest little horse I've ever known and I love her more than anything <3 <3 <3 :)
