I live kinda right in the middle of ontario on a 60 acre farm i own three horses and one will be in foal soon, i show with the rockwood trail riders and i've shown at alot of other places to, i mostly ride jumper, but also hunter, and a little bit of dressage and a tinsy bit of westurn.
I just found this group and it makes sense and half the time you are talking with someone half way around the world. That is fine but if you are looking for someone to trail ride with geography matters. I live and ride near Uxbridge and am older than I am young. Still does not slow me down. It there someone in this group of 40 or so people who live near here and like to ride the trails? Let me know! Cheers! Gail.
Hey there everyone!
It's Amanda ( creator of this group)!

Hi!
I am looking for a well trained dressage horse who is over 16.2 hands & can jump a little too. Willing to lease or buy. If you have one for sale email me!
Hi Linda,
I really appreciate your help. I am looking for no specific breed, simply a safe horse that is well trained with really nice movement and a nice disposition. I would be taking him or her to shows, so a horse that's easy to trailer, bathe, etc. My budget is between 1000-25000$.
https://events.constantcontact.com/register/event?oeidk=a07e2kr3mqt5642a6d3 Enter the Wind Rider Challenge - Sept. 18th in Welland, ON 4-6pm - a unique all breed, all discipline competition. Win prizes and money plus compete at CanAm in March.
Hi Everyone I have a new member coming to my house a pony mare from a friend of mine. I have a question, my boys have been only the 2 for years I am getting the pony for the one I leave behind to ride the other. Question is how to introduce a new member? How long. I have a stall for the girl to go in over night with the boys on each side, then the plan is to let them out in side by side paddocks for a few hours then to blend them. the side by side paddock thing is not a permanent solution. Any suggestions would be appreciated. One Gleding (In picture) is very possessive. Thanks everyone

Camille, go to www.smokeyriversporthorses.com. After looking over the website, you will find some of the best Grand Prix horses anywhere. They are the most honest horsemen I know, and have the finest horses to be found.
If you don't see a horse you fall madly in love with on the website, they have many more. Just write either Brandy or Travis and let them know that you spoke with Linda. They are bringing my new colt in October so your timing is good, as if you find what you want they can bring your new horse along with Villian.
The Trakehners in particular are amazingly calm, and loving horses. They are known for their endurance, and bred for the hunter jumper ring. However, they are exposed to all disciplines from the time they can walk. Good Luck.
One of their horses is Donner, featured in Horse-Opoly.
Hi Linda: I will be boarding at a place called Ridgeview Stables by tomorrow. Time to be inside for the winter. I spent the summer at a trail place called Pleasure Valley outside of Claremont. How far are you away from there? Gail.
Hello Ontario riders, I lease a Clydesdale gelding, and ride H/J and do some hacking. Homestead Hills is in Kendal, HWY#115 and Taunton Rd area they have two indoor arenas and an outside sand arena, so riding year round. Enjoying the dry warm weather right now.
Hey everyone!
It's Amanda again,

I'm looking for people in the Niagara/Haldiamnd area that use one of the following beddings; Peat Moss, Shreaded Paper, or Pellets.
I need these for my 4H achievement display board. If you use any of these could you please let me know. I need them by September 30.
I can pick up.
Hi everyone... I just posted a new audio on my BM home page talking about how your are scored on your freestyle music. I have had a lot of questions about what the judges are actually looking for, and how they decide what score to give you. There are a number of criteria and guidelines that they use, so I thought you might like to know them!
Even if you are not a dressage freestyle competitor, this will be useful for you in picking out your own music to ride to on a daily basis!
Let me know if you have any questions... also, don't forget that I have more tips, clips and free audio on my news letter. You can sign up on my site. www.Ruthhoganpoulsen.com

My daughter is 9 and a terrific rider for her age, jumping 2'6". She does not have a pony. I am looking for a coach to take her to the next level. She wants to show on the A circuit. I live in Toronto so I don't want to go too far out of the city. Does anyone know of anyone great?
Sarah, where do you take your daughter to ride at this time? Are you saying she doesn't have any horse of her own? Ponies are sweet but not for a jumper at your daughter's age. She needs a horse which can bring her into her teens and beyond if you can swing it.
There are several really good coaches available in the TO area. I would presume you would want someone who can teach her at your barn, or do you want her to be taught with a barn's horse?
I am looking to find a new barn, coach and horse/pony for my daughter. That sounds like a lot doesn't it. We have looked at buying and leasing large ponies but haven't found the right one. Currently we are riding at a stable in King City that is good but won't take her to the next level. Plus I ride and would love to find a barn and a horse too where I can ride as well (nothing too serious)
I am selling my 12 year old appaloosa gelding.
He's an amazing horse. Goes english, western, bareback. He's been shown, done trails, jumped. He does need an experienced rider.
If anyone wants more information don't hesitate to ask, you can email me @ holly_brown13@hotmail.com
