Sky looks beautiful! You are sooo lucky... do you always ride western? I've recently tried it for the first time and think it's fantastic! The horse in my pic isn't mine :( I was riding her on a training holiday for my university club - she was so gorgeous though, I didn't want to leave!
I'm always up for more friends! Thanks for asking !!! That is soooo sweet you live is Australia!! I've always wanted to travel there.... Must be super warm there right now, while its -10 here, along with piles and piles of snow! Adorable picture btw :)
Training for the grand prix is amazing!!! I'm riding the horse that my coach took to the Olympics in 2004 so he's a fantastic horse, like nothing I have ever ridden before! I'm having so much fun learning everything!!
What type of riding do you do with your horses?
haha that sounds like a lot of fun!!
i think i'd like rounding sheep up on a horse :)
i don't really ride, im on this site for the exercise and nutrition videos (which are REALLY cool and helpful you should check them out!) and for the weekly "saddle soap" by tish cohen which is absolutely hilarious.
im quite allergic to horses, but my mom rides drassage and competes too, you should add her if you haven't already, her names Barbara :)
do you ever compete?
when i go near horses my eyes get SO itchy, my nose get plugged, i sneeze a LOT, and my throat tickles! hahaha so i guess you can see why i don't ride! :(
sorry that took me so long to reply, i'm really busy with exams!
so you have two horses! wow, so how do you know which one you want to ride?? is one of them for one type of riding, and the other for another type?

Hi Racheal,
in my position as National President of ATHRA (checkout www.athra.com.au) I visit a lot of the clubs around the country and an lucky enough to be offered rides wherever I go.
I was on holiday in Eygpt and saw some horses and went over to talk with them. They kindly offered to give me a horse and take me for a ride. Little did I know at the time they gave me a very young horse who was only just broken in. They found it extremely funny but I did do Australia proud by not coming off and eventually settled the horse and have a good ride.
