Hi Lauren, How have you been? Have you found a good place to ride ? We have some news, both good and bad , I'll start with the bad . We had to put Sadie down last month as well as Lucy and Dusty. I don't think you met Dusty? We only had him a couple of months, he was Clare's first pony ( Clare is the girl that rode at the Royal with us). GOOD NEWS. We have gought two new ponys ,a five yo pallamino mare, (a project for Kate) and a 12yo black gelding that will go strait in the school to replace Sadie. We sold Bubba to a dressage rider for enough money to buy a truck( still looking ). We still have Floyd ,and plan to keep him now, I bought Lurch ( I don't remember if you met Lurch), That's about all I think. Hi Lauren, Kate and the kids say Hi. I just picked another pony today, took 4 hours to get it on the float!!!! Nice pony though, black gelding 14hh 12 yo Zorro. Kate was the person on the spot when Sadie was put down, she was very sad. Lurch is coming on slowly ,I'll start jumping him in a couple of weeks. Good old Floyd has been doing a lot of jumping lately, and is going very nicely indeed. Kate and I have an event to go to in 2 weeks , at Reynella, it will be my first one for about 10 years , hope I remember what to do!! We'll send some pics. Cheers Geoffrey and Kate

Hi Lauren, Hope you are well, everyone here is good. Kate and I went to the Reynella HT on the weekend, had a very good result in the dressage phase. Kate was 3rd ,I was 6th. Showjumped really well , two clear rounds for both Kate and me. Things went down hill in the x-country, I had a silly run out coming out of the water and another at a skinny 4 jumps later . At that same jump Bundy shied and Kate fell off!! Still both of us were happy with the horses , Bundy shied because the jump judges were sitting right behind the jump and stood up as she turned the corner to it!!! DUH . Never mind , we are going to another event in May so all will be right at that one. I'm trying to workout how to get the video pics on here, when I do you can see some footage. Are you getting much riding? Has the weather been shitty? How's school? Cheers Geoffrey

hehe, i guess your enjoying the school(apart from the hm), congrats on the Head girl thing. uh, what is a head girl. I really wish you were still here, and coming to the riding school. Will you come down and stay with Geoff durin your hols, maybe for one of his schools :D? My school break up on the 9th April, and we go back on the 28th April. I'm sure you'll get used to the weather eventually. lol. down in SA, it's the complete opposite. it's sooooooo hot down here, and it's Autum. but we've had some terrific days for riding.
