A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): Well i live on a 23 acre farm with 7 horses and family. I am a 179cm high, brunette teenager.
I love horseriding, TIM MINCHIN, good food, the Chasers, The Adelaide Fringe, Bill Bailey, Adam Hills and surfing (though some of those big waves scare me). I compete/train in dressage and showjumping, try hard in all sports love running and tennis. I like finding a good bargin in bonnets, horseland etc, Art, Sport, Lord Of the Rings, reading, writing, photography.....
Kalinga Michelangelo, "Meco" is my horse. He is 16.1hh, 9yo, bay, warmblood/TB gelding. We bred him. I love him, even when he is being a silly boy. I am currently riding him at a Novice/Elementry dressage level (though he can do many of the advanced even FEI movements but not strong enough yet)and training over 1m+ jumps.

Training , what training , It's been too bloody hot to do anything.We did go to Metro Sun and all did some nice rounds. I finnished at 95 though he was getting a bit tired I hadn't worked him for about 10 days so he's a bit soft. So's the jockey LOL

Hi Steph! Yeah he's a sweetie - most of the time! We do hunter showing classes and Novice dressage. Just trying to conquer jumping now! Just about to go and attempt a clear round - last time I did one I fell off - twice!!

Well we just had a great time today at freshmans !

curly didn't rush at all and went a very nice pace !
and we did a whole round at 1 meter ! and we finished at that

HI Steph,

The arvo was great, I did barrel racing and my lowest score was 28 seconds but Rickey got 25 seconds. Then we did some jumping with Di.

omg
we had riding club on sunday it was really good in the morning
i had di keach teach me she was great getting curly cantering better

but then in the arvo it just went from bad to worse
we did some good sized jumping and i was all over the place and she was complaing that i was doing zig zags from jump to jump and because i had too because the course was really tight and she was picking on me so much with when i jump i have to stick my hands really far forward when i went over a 30 cm jump and was me and timika we just got really annoyed with her

oh thats great that meco is good and you get to go !

I have been getting my hand forward more but we were jumping about 30cm and i had to stick my hands heaps far forward it just felt very silly.

but at goolwa i will use a neck strap and i will ask you if it is in the right place hehe

but at freshmans i wont use one

hey the other day we went to bonetts and we saw a blue felted saddle blanket with white around the edge (we were going to get one for goolwa) but..... it was a pony size grr

and one more thing or so ..

we bought a crop thinking it was a jumping crop so we got it ($50) and then on the receipt it said jockey whip and im like oh no mum still thought it was a jumping whip. so what do you think it would be it has a lack rubber handle and its blue with a leather slapper think on the end.

I will get mum to get some photos of you at freshmans

we also got the saddle fitter up he said our jumping saddle fitted him but our dressage saddle didnt and we cant get it repacked because there is not enough leather to add more in it

thats good that the pics are good.
yeah my camera does have a delay its annoying.
I took so many because other wise you dont get any good ones.
But next time i think i will do a bigger MP if you know what i mean (better quality pics)
hmm yeah i hope he gets better fast too

well bevan our fairer and the chiropractor are going tomorrow and now curly is lame! (IT COULD NOT GET ANY WORSE)
his back leg is all swollen and is is limping really really badly only walking on tip of his hoof
there is no absus (sp?) or rock

well he is getting better, absuss is clearing up he is walking on it now but still lame. His back is better too. we just got a great dressage saddle jessica trainers great condition leather 6 years or so $800 and it fits him we got it from a lady at riding club named michelle

Hi Steph, We were 6th after the dressage!!! Had two run outs x-country, I don't think he galloped a single strait line on the x-country , very green. Very nice SJ round though. Kirckaldy park next. I've worked out the video so I will post it on here. Cheers Geoff
