I am the product educator for Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals, we are a Canadian company that manufactures all natural herbal products for human, equine and pet health or perfomance needs
Hi Patti!
I gave the products to my contacts in Germany. They were really happy. The trip was interesting, we are vetting 2 horses from there. Have a nice day! Vanessa
Hey Patti...so I hear you not only are very nice but you are affiliated with Back On Track products....I am presently using no bows on my horse who recently tore a check ligament and I also started using Recovery EQ and was interested in hearing from others who may be or have used it....I do know his leg is looking awesome...
I haven't talked with you since I worked at A Bit Equine last year. Recently been using more of the Omega Alpha products on Standardbred track layups at the farm I manage - great results.
Had my own endurance mare (avatar photo) on Enduragin with good results over the past 2 seasons. Wish your HA-180 was a bit cheaper as we would love to put her on that during competition season as well.
Love my Back On Track t-shirt - perfect after doing 50-miles in 6-9 hours on an endurance ride.
Hi Patti,
Just wanted to leave you a quick note saying that I've had my older horse on Sinew-X for about a month now and I have noticed a HUGE difference! It's such a great product and I have been recommending it to everyone in my barn!
Take care,
Andrea
HI Patti,
I sent you a message thru your site regarding Sinew-X. Not sure if you have received it. I would like to chat with you regarding your products, and what is good for my horse. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks, Janet
I just want to let you know Bosco's training is going super and we are starting to videotape for our new freestyle. The Biotic 8, Gastra FX, Sinew-X, HA-180 and Minereq have worked wonders and they keep him coming out feeling better than ever. I hope your trip to BC was safe and successful and we will chat when you return.
Have you been on http://www.equinephotographers.org/index.php It's a great resource for shots and equine photographers.
Sidenote, i've been contemplating trying Pre-mare for my mare. She's a great study for hormonal issues, LOL. This time of year she starts to change from quiet and easy to 'unpredictable'. however I don't like to put her on real drugs until april or so. so I was thinking something in the interim might help. She didn't respond to liquid Fiesty Mare, so wasn't sure about Pre-mare..different ingredients though right?
Hi Patti!
It was great to meet you last night at the Cadora event and thank you so much for the bottle of Sinew-x! My horse appreciates it very much! I'm sure I'll see you at the next event.
Take care,
Andrea
It is most certainly a hormonal issue. LOL..I've owned the mare for 6 years now, she's like clockwork. We keep a diary in the spring/summer months to track her heats and she pretty much follows it to a 'T'.
Crabbyness isn't the issue, far from, She's actually very pleasant when she is in full heat. It is the week prior and a couple days into her heat that is the worst. ADD, very spooky, over-reactive and really not rideable or trainable because she just does not settle into her job, very tense. Even if you try and tire her, she is still wound up two hours later, sometimes worse. In the fall and early winter months, she's a dream to ride/train. In about one month from now, things will really start to change again for her. The first heats are brutal.
I had always given her Projesterone injections 13-15cc's, every five days. It helps greatly, However near the end of the summer, she starts getting pretty lumpy from the injection sites. So last year I tried her on Depo first time, didn't work. They tried Regumate. But for her it took 20cc's (double dose) to effectively stop her cycle. Needless to say, it cost me a fortune and it makes poking her with a needle every five days look like the easiest treatment.
I'm looking to try her on something for this time of year, because it's a bit too early to start with the injections. With how hormonal she is, I would be very suprized (and happily) if a supplement alone could 'cure' her. ..She's a great case study for mare issues!!
I was wondering if you could give me some advice on Herbs for calming horses.
I have a 12 year old appaloosa gelding and I've had him since the day he was born and he has always been very high strung and hyper. Which makes riding very difficult.
We would like to try putting him on some sort of herb, could you give me some advice please?
