A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
I have a horse saddlery business Sheba Horse Shop, i live on a property with lots of animals horses and dogs. Near Victor Harbor. I breed and show Curly Coated Retrievers and have a litter expected middle of December. Im a registered SACA Breeder. I love horses and always feel they are a big part of my life my favourite are the TB's and my welsh ponies.

    Thanks Rachel, I'M so glad to here you are enjoying riding again, isn't it just so nice to be able to go for a ride with Amber and not feel scared! About Lee, I think you are right about that horse, he's a nice horse but not for her. I dont' think you could talk her out of it , It's going to have to be her idea. So I don't know ?

    That would be great! I am still trying to get mum to learn how to use the camera properly (sp?).
    I will tell you when a dressage day is on at Southern Vales Dressage Club (Aldinga), that would probaly be the closest.

    Hi Rachel, The event training was good , we saw a couple of jumps that I was glad to have had a go at before the comp, espesaily the water jump! Mechanical riding is riding without feel, bash to go pull harder to stop ,no feel of timing of the aids to influence the horse, just rip them around the corner. It's like driving a car or a tractor. That's why I call it mechanical. Cheers GEOFFREY

    Hi Rachel, The books to read are Riding with feel by Zoe Harrison,from WA. And Horse training, The Mclean way by Andrew Mclean from VIC. TWO VERY GOOD BOOKS and aussies as well !
