Hi Martha, looks like you've figured out how to "send". :)
Aren't Jean Luc and Helyn's posts fantastic? There is so much to learn from them. Have a look at William Micklem's blog as well if you have the time. He is another brilliant horseman and also a best-selling author. He is a challenging read and an incredible person to get to know.
Have a great weekend!
Hi there- finally your'e posting pictures in a group lol
Xanto is looking so great these days I am sure you want to meet him asap and bring him home to you
I love the photo of Shane and Mars. Just love that one
I thought your new buckskin baby looked familiar! Congratulations! I think he is one of the most spectacular Warlanders I've ever seen and I've loved him since he was first born! Congrats again! also loved your pictures. What a lovely rider you are and I imagine that Holly is very pleased her youngster is with you. I look forward to seeing how he turns out! All the best in 2010. Cheryl Gibson, Ontario, Canada
Hi Martha,
>my first time joining any group, or sharing photos of my "private life".
I don't belong to groups either as a rule - but it was certainly worth while to join a few here and see where Xanto went! I knew he was at Jenni's just lately but didn't realize you had bought him. He will have the best of care at Jenni's too - how lucky for you to have Holly, Susie and Jenni all involved in your new boy's life! I truly was awestruck when I saw pictures of him for the first time - knew he needed to go to a wonderful rider/trainer and so he has.
> How is it that you know Holly?
We have 'known' each other for a while now as we are in the same Andalusian group.
>Glad to see you are also part of science of motion....known Jean Luc for nearly 15 years, ridden with him on and off for that period. but he is definitely the most influential trainer in my life. Amazing and brilliant man.
He certainly is a brilliant man and I'd love to be able to study with him.
If you scroll down the Barnmice home page, there is currently a chat room open where you can add comments in the comment box and then click on your computer's enter button to join the comversation. :)
This is the first time that the chat room has been openon the home page, so I think it will evolve depending on what people want to talk about. It will likely be open on set days only. Also, there are plans to schedule open "chats" with top riders and trainers such as Jean Luc in the future, which I think would be more up your alley. :)
By the way are all those your horses? How many do you have? What breed (s)? They are really stunning.
Yes, Martha, you are right on all counts. Don't worry at all - there is nothing wrong with adding challenging dialogue. I will try another recommendation and suggest William Micklem's blog series. Jean Luc is participating in discussions there - particularly the post starting with the title "Let's Face Facts..." William is immersed in the eventing field and is one of the most respected horse people in the world. Also, Jean Luc has a blog series here that he has started. You can find both blogs in our blog dropdown at the top of the site, or you can search their names under Members. We also have a Eurodressage group here where you can join and start discussions, as well as a number of discussions about Rollkur in our Dressage section which you can find by searching for the word Rollkur. If you need any more info., I'm always happy to help. In the meantime, my best advice is to explore, search and click on different areas. You'll get very good at all this is in a surprisingly short time. :)
Hello Martha - I love your photos and your riding! Am complete computer-phobe re photo scanning - but will try to up-date. Looking forward to learning more about your horses. Jo
