A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): I am a "late bloomer" to riding......didn't learn to ride until late 40's....It has been several years now into this passion and will never quit!!
I own a Quarter Horse, who is the love of my life right now just behind my two beautiful, grown daughters. I totally enjoy anything horse related!

Brandy will be four in May. She has a spoiled child attitude, but loves attention. She is green broke. We are having a blast with her. She is so smooth you could drink your coffee while riding her. She loves the trails which is perfect cause thats what we do. We are late bloomers too.

I am so jealous.........would love to have a horse with that kind of gait.
Unfortunately, my guy, Danny, has hock disease and now I find out...Navicular....so his gait in the jog isn't the best! His back legs are getting "post-legged"...to it makes for a not so smooth ride! LOL!
If I keep him at a very slow jog, then it isn't bad.....his lope is very nice...once had a trainer rate his jog at about a "7" out of "10"......so that is good.
He is the love of my life right now..........will never ever part with this horse...he has the funniest personality and has taught me tons...!

Hi Shellie.. which one do you think it was???? I was on a board called live to ride...... and Wisconsin Horses.... thanks for writing.. I love your pics.... omg..... you are riding alot more than me..... your horse looks like a horse I had here.... oh, that made me miss him again.... I'm commenting on the slide show, lol..... it is pretty here, gotta play before the summer that's for sure....

Yes, those were the boards...but apparently, if you don't post on them regularly, they "poof" or suspend you from the board. Geezzz! Didn't know there was a requirement for posting on these boards!!
The Live to Ride board shut down and the other board I am no longer a member.
