We have been breeding Canadian Horses for 9 years. We currently are taking a break from breeding and are focusing more on just enjoying our horses. We downsized our herd considerably this summer and have kept 4 horses for our own pleasure.
Hi Laurie! I see Nimbus and Mirage are moving along quite well in training. Hoping to see Pendragon & Rune as well soon. I've always loved their names. You're very creative with the naming of your horses.
You can check out my photos to see what we've been up to! Taking Leo to two Parelli clinics this fall though. Oh I'd love to be able to buy a cart & harness . . . someday, someday . . .
Thanks for the info. My wife and I both completed the Horse Breeding program at Old's College this past year which was a great experience. We've been able to set up for AI and actually were successful on our first attempt. Unfortunately the mare resorbed so we tried a second time. She didn't catch so we'll try again in the spring. All in all it has been a very productive learning experience and we look forward to what the new year will bring. Once again thanks for your helpful email.
