  • Marie-Frances Davis

    Thank you!
  • Rebecca daley

yes she is a welsh A
  • Stephanie

Ya i am really excited to train my horse. I LOVE riding you just feel so free..and i am excited to train elite...it will be a great experience...what are your horses names?
  • Stephanie

Those are cute names i also have a chestnut pony cabreo (cah-bree-oh) i am not a huge fan of the name but its what it was when we got him. diamond is not a bad name at all i think its cute! =) Dezzi sounds cute i love paints. How tall are your ponies?
  • Stephanie

Ya i really like names that are different. Desiree is a cute name i pronounced it right at first....lol! =) 13.2 hh that is so cute and small i love the little ponies i especially LOVE to ride them they are so much fun to trot and canter with and jump...can't forget jumping! Cabreo is 14.2 hh too. Its a good hight but i have to sell him soon after show season thats why i am getting Elite. Its going to be a big upgrade from 14.2 to 16.1 hh and Elite (since he is so young) may grow a little more!
p.s Good luck in show season...I am sure you will do great....got any show names for your ponies?
  • Stephanie

That would be a big upgrade but you would get used to it eventually. And its true when you are jumping on little ponies...they tend to have a small neck..lol but you gotta love them! btw i love the pics of you with your ponies they are so cute....i LOVE paints and chestnuts! I am also a fan of appaloosas (if thats how you spell it) I think they are more of a western kind of breed but they are so cute especially leapord spotted ones! I also love it when little ponies buck and rear....its so cute and fun.! and ya if i think of any show names i will sure mention some....I am still thinking of one for Elite. :p
  • Stephanie

ahaha i love appolosers but they are not really for english riding...which i do i think they are much more better for western. I am also planning to post pictures of elite and cabreo. Elite is coming friday so i am really excited! so you live on your own farm?
  • Stephanie

What was the name of the appolooso that you rode? And thats great that you have your own farm! i wish i did to but unfortunatly i don't. And just a question is diamond the chestnut pony or the paint? Are you showing diamond in hunter, jumper, dressage.... I am going to do hunter this year and i am really excited i may even be able to show elite for the first time! if not i can still just show cabreo!
  • Stephanie

Dressage will be fun to do with diamond.I don't really do dressage i just do hunter and some jumper with Cabreo. Its annoying cause i bought Elite and i am soon selling cabreo and Cabreo is starting to get lead changes now which is really good for hunter. Elite is a gelding and he is coming tomorrow but i wont be able to ride him till he gets broken in cause he's very spooky....but he has a really sweet personality so i cant wait to start riding Elite its going to feel great cause once you train a horse you feel so accomplished and its a great feeling so i am excited to see elite again and start training him.
  • Stephanie

No i have never showed dressage. Our barn does not really do dressage we focus on hunters and jumpers more. elite finally arrived at our barn. he seems pretty chiller then i expected. I may be able to ride him in a few weeks for now i just ride Cabreo. And yes we bought Elite awhile ago and he is officially mine. He wont eat any treats other then sweet feed, hay and grain. He is still very scared but he is starting to get to know me. Hey just a question who are the other horses/ponies on your pictures cause you said you owned ponies name diamond and dezzi...who r the other ones...just curious =D
  • Stephanie

Ya Elite is starting to gain trust in me. He is soooooo sweet =D. Thos are some cute horses and ponies. Hey! it says you enjoy soccer...i LOVE soccer too. But horseback riding is still the #1 thing for me. So anyway just a question you said you do dressage do you do hunter and jumper too? So i am guessing you jump. I LOVE to jump on horses and ponies its one of my favourite things in horseback riding. That and cantering. You feel so free and then when you jump you feel like you are flying and just gliding in the air...its a great feeling!
  • Sofia D

Thanks Jenna! I love all your pictures, especially the one of Diamond with the bow on her head! Adorable!
  • Stephanie

Jumping is fun....and its great that you might compete in jumping...that would be fun!!!!! Hey i see that you have uploaded more pics. They are so cute! You look really good on a horses. Ahaha its funny you mention barebacking and cantering cause i just did that today on Cabreo. Its uncomfortable at fist but i got used to it. It was a great experiance. I never had the chance to actually bareback on Cabreo and today i finally did. It was sooooo much fun!!!!!!!!!!! Cabreo was actually really good at it..LOL..I am typing and looking at your pics at the same time your ponies are so cute. Are the other ones other horses at your barn cause you said you moved your horses to a barn...i think...lol
  • isobel springett

Thanks. It's not my horse, I was photographing a competition in Brazil. Mine are just as nice though!
  • isobel springett

I think mine are the only ones in Western Canada. I have a grey mare and a black stallion. I like your chestnut pony.
  • Stephanie

Ya he is cute and sorry to hear about the paint best wishes to him. And i hope you are having a great time at your new barn! He is really cute that paint. He looks like a pony i know named Jiggy. So you are training the paint right? So he was western but now you are training him english? Well anyway have fun with him (btw i mean that in a good way)
  • Stephanie

OKay i will join your group!
  • Stephanie

OOOhhhh is your aunts barn western then? But thats cool you get to train another pony. Training is really fun. That reminds me but Elite is doing very well lately hes not spooking as much he still is wondering were he is but he is doing pretty well so i will be getting on him soon. I have horse shows all weekend so wish me luck!
  • Stephanie

Hey again. That must be great to have an aunt that is EXCELLENT AND KNOWS EVERYTHING for training horses. Well ya i go to some shows in the winter to but i mostly show in the summer the most. On Saturday i am doing Jumper and on Sunday i am doing hunter. I am really excited i hope we get nice weather. And thanks i really hope i do well!
  • Cassandra Jessop

ya the man riding is her first and only other owner, and the older lady is his coach and the young lady riding is me. Thanks and you horse is adorable
  • Cassandra Jessop

i havnt shown her yet i just got her in july 09 but i paln to soon :) and i do dressage i did it the last 2 years with the horse i leased 'what about bob' (the horse that my scores are on)
  • Stephanie

Heyyy i just created a new group you should join it!
  • Christine

Thankyou :):) for your comment on my horse :)
  • Stephanie

    Hey. Hows it going!?
  • Emmy

Arabs are great! I have been very happy with how my arab has done this year. Your pony is adorable!
  • Emmy

Thank you! I was skeptical about him at first, but he has been my favorite dressage partner thus far :). Arabs definitely have their moments, but they are great horses
  • Stephanie

heyzz hows Diamond and dezzi doing??
  • Stephanie

Thats good to hear they are both doing great!
Good luck to you and your pony in the show! What r u going?
Glad dezzi is going great and that she is happy now to be ridden. have fun trail riding. I just LOVE taking Cabreo out on trail rides.
Cabreo is doing okay. In flat work he is not liking my spurs and is acting a little "mareish" and well i have to keep my spurs a little high in flat work cause hes a slow lazy boy in flat but he does not like them in the canter her just does these bucks and kicks haah but its fun. But then when we start to jump Cabreo picks up the speed and just takes off..lol He needs a little work
Elite is doing AMAZING! the person who is working with him right now started poles with him. He is calming down a bit still acting a little spooky. He needs a martingale he puts his head up so high. but he will get better with that. I hoping to start ride Elite sometime in may :P
  • Stephanie

Aww i Love you pictures. Is that diamond with a bow on his head. so cute! Oh btw on my last comment i meant to say at the end that im going to hopefully ride Elite maybe in May! LOL sorry if it was confusing at my last comment :P
  • Carolyn P. Graves

Thanks. He is a good boy.
  • Emmy

They are great horses, thats for sure. Wonderful dressage prospects too. My boy is only 15 hands, and he moves just as well as the big warmbloods do! Good things come in small packages :p
  • Carolyn P. Graves

Yes. He is short backed and uphill. I have seen him jump, on the lunge when he was younger, and I have to say it wasn't pretty. Dressage is more his thing.
  • Carolyn P. Graves

Yes he is a purebred. I have posted some pictures in his album. He and Rose have the same mother.
  • Stephanie

Dressage. Fun. Good luck im sure you will do great!!
Ya Cabreo bucked me again today not off just kept bucking but they arent like intense bucks there just kinda like, I dont like it when you do that so im going to buck" kinda bucks lol...you know what i mean?
    elite is doing amazing
and well right now i cant ride him until he is more safer to ride once hes more relaxed and more safe then i am gonna hop on him and start to ride him. And then i am going to train him from there. So ya wish us lucK!!!!!!!!
  • Stephanie

Ya i hope Cabreo gets over it. I think hes due to be dewormed so i have to do that soon. Maybe that will help idk..lol.
Ya no i am not "aloud" to ride elite right now hes just a bit.....scary in a way but hes improved A LOT wich is really good. Im so excited and Happy!
  • Cartoonrancher

Thanks! She needs a new home. Bea would rather jump and I'm getting too old for that stuff. Spread the word!

Oh, darn! Just realized you're in Canada!
  • Stephanie

Haha thanks i hope Elite and i do well! I hope to ride him soon in May.I just want to see what its like to ride him.
  • Stephanie

Ya its bothering me just watching him be ridden kills me to know what its like to be up there on him. uh! its killing me...LOL but it leaves me something to look forward too =D
Umm idk when my next show is. It will probably be a hunter or jumper show or a mix of both lol :P
  • Cartoonrancher

She's ISR (International Sporthorse Registry. Sire is Pharaoh (Oldenburg) by Parabol. Dam is Ptarmigan II, by Mr. Everest.

She is dainty, only 14.3 hands.
  • Cary Andrew Penny

Thanks for the comment on the pictures Jenna !
  • Cartoonrancher

I did dressage with her and showed her as an in-hand sporthorse. She adores the "beauty contests" and did very well. One year we won the horse of the year award for in-hand sporthorses in RMDS (Rocky Mountain Dressage Society). One of my students likes to jump her, but so far we haven't showed her over fences. Student has little time & money & it's hard for us to coordinate our schedules to attend shows.
