I own a American Saddlebred chesnut mare named Carmelita Rose. I ride Saddleseat in Aurora, Ontario. I am lucky enough to have 2 amazing coaches that have so much experience in saddleseat and with American Saddlebreds. I feel like everytime I have a lesson I learn something else. It is great. I love riding.
Hi Rachel, my boy is supposed to be qh/draft cross, he's 14.2 and 4 in June. I ride western. Have a look through my friends and pick someone.
There are a lot of nice people on barnmice!!

Yes, I showed my five-gaited mare saddle seat. Her name is A Touch Too Much but we call her Goldie. I have leased her to be a brood mare for a stallion owner in Arizona. Go to our web site to see an video of me showing her at the World Championship Horse Show in Louisville KY. www.knightskyefarm.com
I am doing Combined Driving with another Saddlebred named Singsation. Check out his video there as well. I like your horse's pictures. PS I was born in Aurora, Illinois.
Hi Rachel,
The American Bashkir Curly horses are a unique breed. They have been documented in North America since around 1800, but were probably here long before then. They are hypoallergenic, so people who are allergic to horses have a very good chance of being able to work with the curlies. They are a very smart and calm breed - I describe them as 'thinking' horses. They tend to not spook or react, but think through a situation. They learn very quickly and retain their lessons better than most breeds. They are also a hardy breed. The curlies come in all sizes, from a mini to drafts, but the majority of the horses are from 14.1hh to 15hh. Shadow, our stallion, is 15.3hh. There are many types of curlies, some with poodle type curls, some wth waves, and some that have a vry soft bunny fur type of coat. Some shed their manes and tails, some shed some, and some keep their manes and tails.
haha ya that is a picture of Elite! and thanks he is a gorgeous dude.. :P I cant wait to start riding him. Ya i am going to upload more pics of Elite soon. I need to getter better pics of him though! So what do you do dressage?
Hi Rachel, thank you very much for the compliment about my horse. No she is far from a baby, she is a quarter horse and is 19 yrs. old now. Talk about beautiful, your mare here is really pretty. She kind of reminds me of another mare I have here, but she is not mine. She is a NSH, she is grey, I think 12 yrs. old now. Looks more Saddlebred than Arabian and moves like a cloud. I am sure, I can tell by the pics that your horse floats like that too ! I know it is show season so be careful out there, and good luck !
Thanks!! Natural Horsemanship lets you develop a truly connected partnership with your horse- it lets you do amazing things... my horse and I trust each other immensely!
Hey Rach just letting you know that Nick broke his leg skateboarding today!!!( Just like Harrison) :)
