looking forward to your interesting posts throughout these pages...or whatever these are. Keep it clean darling, but keep it interesting..I know you will. And Kali rules. Beautiful and magical and rare Kali.
  • SUSIE-SOLOMON-MABE

I rode her this evening- and she was too big and too forward and very hot. Her canter was a gallop and I let her breeze a mile in each direction before I could get a trot I could sit to- and then it was so big and her front legs were out so far I could see her hooves-
I wonder how her colt felt being joslted like that? Oh she is carrying a colt this time- I just know it......

    Hi Susie

You have lovely horses. I see you posted that you had bought one of your horses in utero. I bought my horse in utero as well. I like your X name Xanto. Mine is named Xaquiro. How do you pronounce it "Chanto". I pronounce mine "Chaquiro". Your horses are stunning.

  • SUSIE-SOLOMON-MABE

the Dutch pronounce the X like this.. SH
so Xanto is pronounced Shanto- and so I think your horse's name would be Shaquiro instead of Chaquiro
but whatever makes you happy works Xuxa is Xanto's dam and my Kali's as well. it is pronounced like this- ShuSha
    hope this helps

    Do you breed fresian/morgan crosses?
  • SUSIE-SOLOMON-MABE

Hi there- I do have two really good looking morgan girls- one is old style and one is very modern with fancy sport movement and both can be bred to my friesian Zen in 2010 - but I do think I will breed one of the morgans to my friends palomino andalusian stallion- for a pretty wild foal for 2011.
I had bred and purchased 2 friesian morgans in utero and both turned into drop dead dressage horses and they both were /are spectacular.
I love friesian crosses- provided one breeds a type to type and not just covers the mare who cant be ridden and is 3 legged crosseyed lame... ya know!
So both of my mares are very nice- one is a 6 yr old chestnut and built like a tanker, who I call BeBe and she is registered of course. This is BeBe

new pics have been posted to my site if you wish to look.
I will have 2 new baby black friesians born- one this spring and one in the summer
no idea of the sex but both mares look fab! I have a feeling my herd big girl is going to have a colt . Both will be for sale.

Hi the gelding called Xanto - the buckskin warlander, ( friesianxandalusian) was bred by my ex partner Holly, in Ca. and purchased by a dear friend in Conn. Martha G.
That boy is a half sibling of my friesian mare Kali - as Xuxa is his dam and my kali's.
I will be having rotator cuff surgery next week and will be out for over 6 to 8 weeks without being able to work my horses, so if anyone is in the northern Ca are and without a steed at this time and would like to ride a big forward mare and play with a 3 yr old incredibly talented friesian stallion please do let me know.

    Thank you
    Susie

    Your stallions are beautiful!
  • SUSIE-SOLOMON-MABE

Thank YOU Emmy- the picture of me riding below is on my mare- and yes she is a big girl, this is my joy- Kali is her name and her daddy was my ULRIK, a giant of a stallion.
Kali is a friesian and she is in foal to another friesian, UNO, for her 3rd baby.

Kali was having her 5th dressage session in this picture and wanted to get out of the arena and into the trails as soon as possible.

happy valentine's day and cheers to our C/Kalis. Magnificent moms to be...and to us. and our friendship.

Hi Susie: I see you have pictures of Xanto. I bought a horse off of Holly Zech about two years ago named Xola. She is Xanto's sister. Well, Xuxa and Uno are her mom and dad. She has Turned out to be quite beautiful and very athletic.
    Cheers,
    BarbaraAnn

congrats! Xuxa is also Kali's mommy. Her sire was Ulrik the most breathtaking stallion ever. I was Holly's partner for yrs and when I left to go insane for a yr I sold my UNO to her- lol and we are still partners and doing business together and playing. I have 2 babies due this summer from UNO and my two friesian princesses so if you know of anyone looking.... let them know.
    You are in Canada right?
How awesome. I also have Zensational a 3 yr old friesian stallion who will stand at Hollys this summer.
UNo is for sale- Holly is committed to Zen and her up and coming 2 yr old stallion louro who is a palomino Andalusian will come to me for 6 months of work- to be started for under saddle. I am the one who did the training and am the rider in all the videos of UNO.
If you need anything.... we also joined FHH for the friesians- and have them all dna'd and typed there as well.
Thanks so much for saying HI to me! my page has pics of my friesian girls.

Absolutely right. You sound very busy. I used to breed Trakehners. It was a very exciting and fullfilling time in my live. Foal season was especially exciting. Now I have 2 Trakehners left. They are for Sale too. I still ride but want a competition or breeding environment for my gelding and mare. I learned equine massage and concentrate on natural healing and maintanance for horses. I wish you best luck and hopefully you get some sleep soon.
