    Welcome Laura,
I would love to know more about the STUNNING horse in your photos! Wow!!
  • Wendy

So would I. He's gorgeous! AND in perfect condition!

I'm in Ontario about 2 hrs north of Toronto. We're on 25 acres and have been here for 15 years. My profile pic is Ben - he's rising 4. Not backed yet, but a lot of groundwork and lunging. He's a Belgian/Standardbred cross. Amazing movement and temperment to match. I just love him. I've had him since he was 6 mos. old. My other love is Hank- he's a 20 year old thoroughbred. Done lots and lots of dressage with him - not competing though. I'm not into competing at all. Then my old guy Cailen is a registered quarter horse (actually from Alberta), he's 30. I really bought him as company for Hank when we moved up here.

Thanks for your kind words. Your colt is gorgeous by the way!

I had Sarah Faulkner do my breeding last year. She does an awesome job with Frozen and very reasonably priced too.

    Hi Laura,

It's been very hot here and we have had some very bad bushfires recently. We're all hoping for Autumn to arrive and some rain (No rain here since before Christmas.) Otherwise, it's good!

There are lots of Warmblood horses in Australia but probably not so many groups as there would be in Canada and the US.

New Zealand is fantastic but I'm yet to head over there to visit. They have stunning scenery and great horses.

    My horse is Holsteiner/Lippizaner breeding.

You must really love black horses, I take it! Gorgeous photos.

    Cheers!

Your horses are gorgeous! You must be quite proud of your 'babies'.

Hi Laura -  I feel truly blessed that I can earn a living as a photographer, and last year I started offering Equine Photography workshops - they were really popular and i am hoping to partner with other riding clubs and associations to offer more next year - perhaps your daughter would find one of those useful - They are lots of fun and I share all my down and dirty secrets on how to improve your chances of getting "The Shot " by 100%

Where are you located - I am in Edmonton Alberta

    Hi Laura

Sounds good - I did two workshops for the AEF last season one in Calgary and one in Sherwood Park,  and they are talking about hosting another one in the Spring - I will let you know where and when it is scheduled for.

They are lots of fun and suitable for budding photographers of all skill levels - we have live models and cover portraiture - dressage - jumping and there is usually  bonus treat as well
