    Dear Reagan,
Your twitter said your riding is over? I've been there, oh around 6 times during my life, including when I was 11, (I am 59). I ALWAYS got back riding, though it might have taken years. Don't give up forever. Your body will remember how to ride, maybe not all the details perfectly, but it WILL remember.
Life is often unfair. This is why it takes determination to reach goals. I was determined to become a good rider, I never gave up in spite of considerable evidence I could not ride well (I have a neurological disease, MS). I now ride fairly well within the limits of my handicaps. It is worth it. Learn all you can about horses during the non-riding years. That is what I did when I was 11 and no longer riding.
Yes, you will ride your whole life, this is just an interruption. It may take a few years, but if you are determined enough you WILL get back to riding.
    Take care, Reagan.

I'm glad to be your friend. Hang in there.

    Hi Reagan,
Yes, you miss riding. You will miss it until you get to ride again. To me this is a good sign, it means that you are becoming a HORSEWOMAN, and that when you finally get to ride again you will be determined to progress and become a better rider. Anyway, that is the way it worked for me. Each and every time.
For years, every day I wanted to ride a horse, but there was no hope. Then, finally, I got to ride again. This loooong wait inspired me to become a lot better rider than I would have been otherwise.

    WONDERFUL news, Reagan!
You just have to be patient for a little longer.
  • Jackie Cochran

How are you doing? Are you getting to ride yet?
  • Jackie Cochran

You got to ride on your favorite horse! You go girl!
  • Jackie Cochran

I hope you get to ride this year, lots!
