A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): My first horse was a little mustang mare named Wildfire. She was a yearling and we were told she was halter broke.Well by the time we got her home we wondered how many halters had she really broke!Ha Ha! She taught me so much about horse ownership as well as kept me out of trouble. We trained each other and grew up together. she is a great horse and will always have a special place in my heart. Because of her I have received many horse experiences,including rescues, and jobs related to or working with horses. I now have three horses, Adonis my Andalusian Stallion, Centauro a three year old Andalusian colt, and Zaphira my Andalusian yearling filly. My husband and I raise and breed Andalusians and Aztecas. I ride Western, English, and am learning to ride sidesaddle(Yikes!). My husband and I participate in local events and parades, and rodeos and dancing horse competitions.My husband and I are also involved in the local Charro association in which he is usually a judge of events and I ride in Escaramuza (Spanish Drill team). We enjoy doing things with our horses and love the fact that it is also a family event as our daughter has a love of horses as well.
