Hi Nora, your photo looks like an Arabian- do you have Arabians? I saw your comment to my blog- I'm sure that back pain will be discussed at some point since it is quite common. I also do 'online' programs, if you thought you wanted to work privately to get a suitable program together.

You're not kidding! We watch the site like hawks and usually these people are banned in a matter of a few hours.

Hi, I saw your comment on my giftie photo. This is the site where my boyfriend had the items made:
    http://www.hairloomtreasures.com/
The lady's name is Giselle and she seems very nice. I do love having a piece of my horse with me all the time. :)

I want to try some braiding too, and eventually maybe some horsehair hitching... gotta have something horsey to do in the depths of winter when the cold drives me inside (I am a total wuss when it comes to cold). It was nice to open a package and see pretty bags of lovely items made especially for me though! :)

Thanks Nora! I appreciate your comments! My husband grew up showing Arabs and I am sure would love a ride on one of your steeds! ;)

I ordered and have received the nose band from LightRider to convert one of my headstalls to a bitless bridle. I haven't gotten to ride with it yet, am really looking forward to it. Rip was ridden in a sidepull, no bit, until about April of this year, then I put a very mild snaffle in his mouth. He accepted it Ok, but I saw a lot of tension in his body. I wasn't fond of the sidepull, didn't like the stiff rope across Rip's nose, so I think we'll both be more comfortable with the nose band set up.
