The Kan body protector is the first moulded body protector which expands as the rider moves and breathes. It has been designed in conjunction with sportswear expert Knox – market leaders in motorcycle protection and is unmatched in its ability to disperse energy from a heavy impact across the surface of the protector and away from the body offering the rider extremely advanced impact protection. It is supremely comfortable due to the fitted nature and tapered edges and weightless when worn – truly it defies logic and must be tried on!
International Event Riders such as Britain’s Jeanette Brakewell, Daisy Dick, Nicola Wilson, Australia’s Sonja Johnson, and Ireland’s, Louise Lyons, agree that it is light, not restrictive at all and that because it expands with each breath it actually enables them to concentrate more on the job in hand and perform better than when wearing traditional styles of body protector.
Posture and position are improved due to the ergonomic contours of the foam system and the support the Kan gives to the back is something that endurance riders acknowledge too. The body feels cocooned so it boosts rider confidence but in the event of a fall, they are able to “tuck and roll” away when wearing the Kan body protector and lack of soreness and bruising is “unbelievable”.
The body protector conforms to all the requirements of BETA 2000, Body Protector Class 3, and EN13158: 2000.
