Hi Heather! Welcome! That is a gorgeous horse in your profile shot. Who is it?
  • Gary Stuart

    Hi
Those horses are impossibly cute! How large do they become? What size/weight are they when they are born? It looks like I could hold some of the little ones in my hand.
  • Dorothy McDonall

Hi Heather! Love the minis!!! Gary's right -- they are impossibly cute. My dream is to own a driving pair one day. Looking forward to seeing more of your adorable ones. Cheerz! Dorothy :-)

Thank you so much. Just be careful...they are addictive. You can't have just one.

We have 10 more mares to foal. Three are in and two more will be joining them shortly once we move Piper and Painted Lady outside.

Shanza, Rowdy and Tonja are close. I predict Shanza first, then Tonja and Rowdy.

Cam is at www.marestare.com/mrun.php and www.marestare.com/mrun2.php

Hey Heather nice pictures! You have some beautiful horses on that farm.
  • Heather Troglauer

Thank you so much Amy - we have worked hard to improve our breeding program. We are very excited with what we are producing this year. Your kind words are appreciated.

Hi Heather, saw your question about the stifle issue. You can post the question to MP Equine in the Vet Clinic channel, or you can put the question on their personal page. They will answer you for sure. If you post it on the Vet Clinic channel, just post it as a comment following one of the videos and they will get an email notification.

Hi Heather, I am using one of your photos as our default profile icon for the next few weeks. With so many beautiful photos, it was almost impossible to choose!!
  • Lexi

I love your mini's!!! They are so cute!!! I kind of want to get a mini or a shetland, but the people that I talk to say they are "evil", if you know what I mean. Is that true at all?? And do you know much about Welsh's??
  • Lexi

cool!!!thats good to know!! I will keep that info in mind!!! Thanks!!!! -._=\>
  • Elizabeth

those are beautiful foals you have helped produce they are already having perfect form and strong legs. i have noticed that u have a few of the foals shaved from half the forehead and down to the chest. is there a reason for that? or is it just summer?
  • Elizabeth

oh and when is the next mare do so i can be on a look out when i get on barnmice thats the first thing i look at!
  • Heather Troglauer

All of the mares in are due or overdue Elizabeth. And thank you for the compliment. Our stallion throws some incredible foals with exceptional conformation. We shave them to show their conformation when we can't give them a full body clip.
  • Heather Troglauer

Lexi - I'm so sorry that you have been told they are evil. Many of mine will sit in your lap. The ones that are raised here are very friendly and actually a little too friendly. My trainer doesn't like us to mess too much with them because then it's harder to show them, but the big mares and our stallions - super sweet. You should come visit.
  • Darlene Strain

I'm sorry about your colt! Hope Charm come around with little effort and feels better soon.

We had a scare last year and nearly lost our colt... I know how it feels to be in such a time sensitive place. those mares of ours are amazing aren't they.

    Best wishes...

    Such cute baby foal pictures!!!
  • Jody Turner

Heather, thank you for accepting me as a friend. Just like to say how much I enjoy the sight. I find myself glued to it, most evenings. I was wondering why the mares bellies are shaved? Is it for easy access when you do the testing? Sorry if the question seems silly, but I have never owned a horse, or been lucky enough to be around horsey people . Wish I had been.!! I can tell how much you love these little guys, every time you get into the stalls with them. Keep up the good work!
  • Jody Turner

Makes perfect sense to me now, about the shaving. Thanks for getting back to me.I also enjoy the photos you take of the foals. It's nice to see what they really look like. On cam it's a bit difficult to get a really good look. I would love to be able to see the cam of the abandoned foal. Would it be possible to access that site?
  • Jeanne Lambrecht

It is GENIUS and positively addicting! Well done!
  • Foal-Time, LLC

Thanks Heather! Karen and I are so thrilled to finally be able to offer this product to others! We have been using them for several years, fine tuning it and think we have it just about right now. The more foals we help get delivered safely because of the "heads up" it gives mare owners the better we feel about being able to share! Kim
