I'm a novice dressage rider, leasing a lovely Oldenburg schoolmaster who knows more than I ever will. Show a little but mostly am doing it for the sheer love of riding and horses.
i am so sorry to be so slow in getting back to you. I have been away at a conference this week and in company for such large chunks of time - it makes it difficult to keep ontop of everything that requires PC time! I will be in my office with no appointments Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of next week so will happily take time to chat over things with you.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Have a nice weekend.
I will be available on Monday and Tuesday and look forward to your call. My number is 0044 289754 2313. The weight of the KAN vest is a little more that others but you really do not feel it at all as the fit is so good and the weight is evenly distributed. there is no sense of bulk either all because the vest is moulded to female shape. Every garment is customised and we take into account your body shape and style of riding etc before working on your garment. The armour has a greater density than other foams but this gives so many protective advantages; - it will absorb at least 20% more energy from impact than other vests, that energy is dissipated through the vest instead of transferring through to your body and it will not flex like others which means that it retains its shape in a crush scenario and will not bend towards the body inside. (this must not be misinterpreted as taking a full horse weight in a full rotational fall - we do not make that claim). These points are from a Polymer Process Research Centre at Queens University in Belfast who carried out mechanical testing on our armour and the results, you will agree, are fantastic. ifyou choose to wear an air vest you can, but always consider your safety vest as the primary protection. there are good reasons that your vest (any brand) has passed the rigorous impact & dimensional tests. I wish people could actually see what lies behind all the safety standard.
