A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
I'm a dressage fan but I do show jumping, western riding as well. I'm also a judge or dressage and show jumping, but not on intl. level. I have a Holsteiner and a Spanish horse and its great fun riding those and compare the differences.

    Welcome Bernd!
So glad you found us! I have a Donnerhall son and am starting to be very interested in the Spanish horses as well. What types of differences have you noticed?

Technology is grand, when it works properly!

You are correcct, the 1972 Olympics was a little before my time; however, my uncle competed for the Canadian team in volleyball that year. I know that I have seen clips of horses jumping enormous fences, but haven't been able to find anything today from those games. It must have been something to have been able to see it, when it was happening! And what is a horseshow without beer? My husband has recently developed a good taste for Warstiener. He had spent some time in Munster last summer.

Where did you train? My old coach was raised in Germany, his name was Otto Sameit. He passed away last year. He was sure tough but made very VERY good riders.

I hope you enjoy your day! The sun is out here, so I think I will enjoy mine.

    Cheers!

hi Bernd. Would you mind emailing me a copy of the article you are discussing about the bleeding of a horses mouth  or sides from bit or spur?

by the way I have friesians and andalusians, and  also breed for warlanders and   true palomino andalusians- more than color- the sires and dams were chosen for their quality and   being gold is just a plus.

Of course as a friesian owner- Love black. thanks! susie
