A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): Segunda Vida Equine Rescue is York Region's only equine rescue. We are a non-profit corporation that offers rescue and rehabilitation services for horses that have been abused, neglected, unwanted or that have been destined or sentenced to slaughter.

We rescue horses and ponies and rehabilitate them before we try to find our rescued equines a new loving and permanent family through an adoption process.

Our primary goal as a rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing organization is to place the horses or ponies in homes which they are the best matched and where they will be loved unconditionally.

Placing these sweet horses into loving homes as soon as possible allows us to further assist others in need.
