Wow, Margaret! I am really impressed by your initiative. I know a few people who have had similar situations who have just given up entirely. I'm glad to hear you are still in the horse world, even if you may not be able to ride right now. :) Have you ever considered driving (miniature horses, that is)? It seems like a pretty popular sport, and also low-impact, with a lot of the same opportunities.

I agree with your opinion about the danger of driving. I think it is a fascinating sport; however, I have also seen some bad accidents.

On the brighter side, I used to own a POA filly, and trained some for the cart. They are real characters, that's for sure! :)
