A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): I am 67 years old, and have ridden horses most of my life, except for a brief stretch in my late teens and early twenties. I currently have two horses -- a 31 yr. old Morgan gelding who I raised from birth, and a 15 yr. old Morgan mare. I used to do competitive trail riding, but now I just do pleasure trail riding and weekly lessons.

Wow, Joyce! It sounds like you have had great company in your life! I think it is so neat to meet people who have owned not only one horse their entire life, but the parents of that horse as well! Where I live there is a woman who breeds Paso Finos, and there are probably at least 50 of her horses in a 30-mile radius; they all grew up around here and stayed "at home." The farm I work for/live on currently owns her ex-stud (a really sweetie of a gelding now) and one of his sons! They are both senior horses now, and I think they are the cutest pair of little horses I have ever seen! :)
