At age 32 discovered Barrel racing, have now been racing for 40 yrs.I have 5yr old QH gelding that I am training now. I have had a lot of fun and met a lot of great people. Had a once in a life time horse called Super Satellite who was 3 time Ont. Barrel Racing Champion, Was All American Congress Champion and made the AQHA Top Ten list. Do you have any pets?
5 horses,1 Golden retreiver, 1 Blue heeler,10 cats,
Yes I am going to CanAm, kind of a chronic when it comes to Equine trade shows.
Snow and arenas are a bad combination, but it gives you a purpose in the spring.
Sorry about your dog, we lost our old girl last April. We got a new dog in June, she was a rescue. The doctors told me I needed to get healthy or die, and I knew you would miss me if I died so I got a new dog and we began to walk.
She won't let me skip and I have lost alot of weight and feel alot better. IMy dog is a tough coach but she knows how to motivate me.
When we lose a good dog it just teaches us how to love the next one more.
See you in the spring, if we make it through the mattress.
