I have an Arabian geld who is just staring Piaffe and Passage I also have a whippet and we have a resue Italian Greyhound he is 10 and a little food monger, he will eat anything and in fact has chewed out the crotch in 2 pair of full seat britches!!! No I have retired from the big D ring after 20 years, and enjoy doing the grass roots juding not nearly so much presure , my arab geld in my picture has just stared piaffe, some days I think he has really got it and others wel not so sure! He was given to me as he had dumped his previous owner a couple of times and she lost confidence in herself and him, but we seemed to bond right away, he does great flying changes and most of his lateral work is pretty good. He is only 10 so there is hope yet that he will make it to psg. that is my goal for him. My daughter and grandaughter both have arabians , my granddaughter riders sidesaddle ( as we all three do), and my daughter has 2 purebred stalions which she does dressage and sport horse with, I don't bother with showing to much anymore . Anyway glad to hear fromyou and glad you are the barnmice site. The big geld I am riding in my photos is a resuce atb and he is a schoolmaster 23 years young he is a riot, you can't make mistakes or he gets quite angry with you. Take care.
