I'm an amateur rider who owns their first horse, a Fjord x Thoroughbred gelding whom I've trained up myself. We're currently dabbling in Hunters right now. I also love to doodle pictures of horses.

    Hey Marissa
    You added me a while ago and I am not sure how this is supposed to work - I guess I should get more into facebook too.

    Hunting is less than two weeks from starting so I am supposed to be riding my butt off to get both of us in shape and I haven't been on him in two weeks! Tonight I begin in earnest! Really. I promise.

    I bought him a bitless bridle at Brubakers yesterday and am looking forward to seeing what he thinks of it. I have a group of friends who are on the bitless campaign and Hannah's pony wears one and is great. It is all part of my quest to become natural horsewoman extraordinaire so let's hope he doesn't dump me or run away and spoil my vision of greatness!!
