There were 2 other horses in the arena at this time, one was lunging and the other was being ridden. They were some boys from his herd and acting up also. I remember now that he didn't like one of them walking past him into the indoor when I moved him over for them to pass. I thought he had calmed down, we had a good ground session after all the antics were over. I think you are right about the weather making them moody.

Best thing to do. I thik they get anxious when argueing in the pasture, even when it's not them doing the fighting. And this weather seems to be making them all a little more moody. Cash was great for nearly a week and I was so excited and boom....he doesn't even want to walk with me on his back and I can feel his tension so then we have a bad cycle going. But I agree it's best to get off in these situations then take a chance on causing another drama trauma that can take a long long time to recover from.
