Steel is a 9 year old trotter, he has raced since he was 3, and is a great gaited horse. We are looking for a seconed carreer for him when he is done racing, He is sound, and child proof. We are hoping to keep him ourselves for Ned to learn to ride, but if finances won't allow we will sell him, as a driving/riding horse. He would also make a super driving competition horse, as he is safe and everyday he gets more confident. He had been driven by children when his breeder owned him, and was always quiet, at that point he was a stud. The new owner gelded him and beat him, so he became spooky and a run away, this is not his natrual way of being. We have had him for about 3 months now and he is returning to his natrual state, a calm sweet horse who loves to please and loves new adventure. My son has some disablities and this horse has been nothing but a gem and a real companion for Ned.
