Thanks Christianna>>I agree, horses deserve so much more than what they are given>>They certainly fullfill my life in ways that nothing else could ever do>>Diablo the paint I'm riding in my profile pic. was also rescued from the auction house of horrors>He was only 20months old when I bought him>Thunder was a 7yr old and no one was able to ride him, or even sit on him>Thunder was a stud of 6yrs and never trained, then he was sold & introduced to abuse and ignorance by a woman who tried to train him, then deemed him dangerous and unridable and sent him to the auction house for meat > it didn't matter to her as 4 so called professional riders were unable to ride him and all were thrown & injured>>The methods of training she bragged about were so bad that Thunder chose the meatman rather than have her as his owner>>He was one of the smartest horses I"ve known>I would just think right or left and he would start to turn>>We shared 13 great years together > He was stunning and I was constantly stopped on the trail by people asking what his breeding was and how smooth he moved>He just floated on air when he travelled & I always thanked him for allowing me the pleasure of riding him as this was a horse that was never broken>> His story is a walt disney movie>>

God bless you and him...what a gorgeous horse...much prettier alive than on a plate! :)
